W&T Offshore announces enhancement to capital structure
HOUSTON — W&T Offshore Inc. announced that it has enhanced its capital structure by entering into a transaction with its wholly-owned special purpose vehicles and Munich Re Reserve Risk Financing Inc.
The company transferred 100% of its Mobile Bay Area producing assets and related gas treatment facilities to the SPVs in return for the net cash proceeds from a $215 million first-lien non-recourse term loan to the SPVs provided by MRRF. Through its 100% ownership in the SPVs, W&T retains the upside value in the Mobile Bay Assets.
A portion of the proceeds to the company from the transaction were used to repay the $48 million outstanding balance on its reserve-based lending facility and to enter into commodity hedging contracts related to the anticipated future production of the Mobile Bay Assets. ....

Abstract
This paper considers a novel Internet of Things (IoT) network comprising of sensor devices and Power Beacons (PBs); both types of nodes are equipped with a Cognitive Radio (CR). In addition, these sensor devices are powered by Radio Frequency (RF) signals from PBs. Our aim is to maximize the minimum rate of devices acting as sources. We outline the first Mixed Integer Linear Program (MILP) that jointly optimizes the channel assignment of PBs and devices, beamforming vector of PBs, data routing over multiple hops and link activation schedule of devices. We also design a distributed protocol called Distributed Max-min Rate with Cognitive Radio (D-MRCR) for use by devices and PBs. Devices set their operation mode using local information and use a game theory based approach to iteratively adjust their transmit power. On the other hand, each PB employs a Linear Program (LP) to determine its beamforming vector. Our results show that the max-min rate of D-MRCR is within 51.8 ....

Abstract
Multiple vehicles control at an intersection is one of the most challenging scenarios in the vehicle control field due to the high number of constraints. However, regarding the control strategies of an isolated intersection, few studies have considered the longitudinal-lateral dynamics comprehensively. In the approaches that treat the turning curve as a straight line, a longitudinal dynamic model is adopted, while the lateral execution ability is ignored. The ideal decisions that ignore vehicle dynamics are not accurately executed by actual vehicles, as doing so would to be futile. In addition, due to the strong coupling and nonlinearity of the longitudinal-lateral dynamics model, the optimization problem is difficult to solve.
