ROCKFORD — Winnebago County State's Attorney J. Hanley has dismissed murder charges against Quincy Wright due to contradicting evidence, he said Tuesday during a news conference. The charges stemmed from a shooting at 2:30 a.m. Nov. 25, 2018, near Eighth Street and Broadway.
