Nearly three-quarters of voters surveyed by the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute said democracy was under threat in the United States after the storming of the Capitol last week.
The institute said it surveyed 1,239 self-identified registered voters nationwide between Jan. 7 and Jan. 10.
The survey indicated that 74 percent of voters polled said democracy was under threat, according to the poll released on Monday. Twenty-one percent of voters surveyed said democracy in the United States is alive and well. ....
