At least nine are burning in idaho. The worst is the nearly twoweekold beaver creek fire. Its destroyed more than 100,000 acres. The fire appears to be calming, hundreds of fires were evacuated in the resort communities of ketchum and sun valley, but some residents are being allowed to return.
