Jon Thomas “JT” Mott of Yellville has been charged with four offenses relating to the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C.
Mott faces charges of Knowingly Entering or Remaining in any Restricted Building or Grounds Without Lawful Authority; Knowingly Engaging in Disorderly or Disruptive Conduct in Restricted Buildings or Grounds; and two charges of Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct on Capitol Grounds. All four charges carry a penalty of fines and up to six months in prison. ....

CHESAPEAKE, Va. Another person from the Hampton Roads area was arrested for his alleged role in the deadly siege and insurrection at the U.S. Capitol in January.
A criminal complaint states that Ryan Suleski was arrested in March for taking part in the riot on Jan. 6.

More than 175 people have been arrested for their roles in the U.S. Capitol insurrection that left five people dead and more than 50 police officers injured.
Arrests include at least 15 people from New York state, with charges ranging from disorderly conduct and violent entry to assaulting police officers. A witness told the FBI that a Rochester man allegedly said they intended to kill House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Mike Pence.
Others among the pro-Trump mob include two men from other states who were arrested in New York and accused of serious crimes: A Utica native allegedly dragged a police officer down the Capitol steps to be beaten, and a Connecticut man allegedly hit a cop with a police shield while he was being crushed in a doorway. ....

Logan Grover of Erie, Colorado, first came to the FBI s attention about two weeks after the attack, when informants reported a Facebook post he made ahead of traveling to Washington, D.C.
According to the post, which the FBI included in its statement of fact about his arrest, Grover wrote, If you accept the reality that the election was stolen, than (sic) you cannot accept Biden as the new president & neither can I.
Further in the post, Grover wrote this was his first protest and he wasn t sure what to do, concluding, I have no interest in violence. Sadly I recognize that violence is highly likely. I am not certain what is going to happen tomorrow. I am certain I need to be here. ....

A complaint filed in federal court earlier this year cited 143 calls made by Jonathan Munafo to Calhoun County dispatchers that tied up the sheriff s emergency line for hours. Further investigation also revealed the man had made internet searches for Gretchen Whitmer and stores where he could purchase firearms.
Munafo was taken into custody last week in Florida. He was also one of those involved in the capitol riots that occurred on Jan. 6 and has been charged with several felonies related to the insurrection. ....
