Whenever we do a Service Event i like to hear from young people who have served. I would like to thank my friend bill, and i had the privilege of helping. It was not me. It was a group of people, i did it with my best friend and college roommate, and others. It was a small group of thoughtful and dedicated people. Fireflyifirefly i flying overhead. A video from the passenger. Look at this. A plane, of the wing, the sparks that you can clearly see about 145 passengers on board this plane. Imagine, you are sitting there, you take off and then thats what you see out your window. Look at your screen here. Emergency crews quickly surrounded the plane. It pulled to the gate without incident. Thats an airbus 320 on its way to seattle. Took off around 8 30. A flight thats usually three hours turned to 40 minutes. The emergency forced them to turn around. They landed safely. Here is a live look at runway. The airport is back to normal operations. We understand the passengers were placed on board another flight. Were gathering details about this emergency. We can report that the plane landed safely. There doesnt appear to be any injuries to the pilot, to the passengers on board that plane. It doesnt appear there was any incident once it landed. We are going to get to the bottom of this. The platform is packed as people try to catch a train out of the city. Septa even offering refunds and credits to customers who bought those weekly and monthly Regional Rail passes.
