A federal judge in Maryland has dismissed a lawsuit brought by three parents against Montgomery County Public Schools to stop a policy of hiding students' gender transitions from "unsupportive" caregivers.
"Kids have their parents to protect them because they're not able to do so until they reach maturity, and I think often will misunderstand whether the parents are supportive or not," one attorney for parents said.
