This looks like it we are probably done considering we had nothing in february and hanging on and rain being called in blue canyon and they had an inch of snow and pretty good activity in the Sacramento Valley and more sun today and we get some clear and breezy and cool and mild and warm. Due to the low cloud deck nothing will change much. West wind at napa, west southwest at fairfield, south to convert. A warmer contrast. If you get on the road early, you should have a decent commute but you will have slowing on 205 at the tracy commute and it will get better toward livermore with highway 4 and 680 and 80 and the freeway is starting up pretty well but if you are driving south, once you hit the south bay, it looks good. A look at the san mateo and the bay bridge, a good start and lets go back to the desk. Today, a rally planned in a few hours by a group of oakland mothers that moved into a home they said was vacant for months and remove them. Jesse gary tells us the women say they are not going anywhere. We still get something out of it as far as cloud cover tuesday and maybe there light rain the fog to be in storm anywhere this week looks like theres into friday, there will be some going into saturday. But not a lot. Little bit of a break. Still a lot of cloud cover next week. The fog 30s and 40s and temperatures, a lot of low 40s or mid40s. A few upper 40s. When you lock in on the fog it can be tough to get rid of this time of year so some locations may not clear until early afternoon, quarter mile visibility up to 10 miles visibility, the dances around a lot, even Half Moon Bay with zero mile visibility, 50s on the temperatures where we should be. 4 30 one, sal is here, where would you like to start . Traffic is also going to be okay driving through castro valley. 880, northbound 880 near marina boulevard, northbound and southbound, there was construction going on and it started last night. They are trying to pick it up but there may be closures. Im getting some conflicting information here saying 880 is closed or they are going to reopen it anytime now. Traffic seems to be okay. The debate is reignited about gun control. We have this part of the story from the newsroom. Reporter authorities said the weapons used in florida that ended the lives of 17 people was in ar15 style firearm. Dianne feinstein sent out a tweet saying another ar15, my ban on weapons is ready for a vote. How long will we accept these weapons using to slaughter our children. President donald trump also tweeted on this issue about an hour ago and tried to shift the debate over gun control and toward the Mental Health issue, saying so many signs the shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a problem. Must always report instances to authorities again and again. Its become a partisan issue, as many things in congress. Most Congressional Republicans say now is not the time to discuss gun control laws and democrats argued there needs to be legislative action to prevent a tragedy again.
