She managed to escape, run into this youth center, a move that led to the arrest of 53year old Martin Gonzalez yesterday afternoon. This is the things that nightmares are made of. Stinson beach is shut down today after a great white shark sighting. The shark was spotted devouring a seal off the coast. David stevenson is there and is live on the phone. Good afternoon, david. Reporter good afternoon. Just to be clear, the beach is open for folks who want to hang out on the sand but they are not allowed to go in the water. Im standing underneath a lifeguard tower from which the great white was from where the great white was spotted. Theres about four dozen people on the beach. Nobody is going in the water, thanks to signs that have been posted along the beach and in parking lots alerting folks theres a ban on swimming. This shark im told was spotted fairly close to shore not far from a finned whale that beached itself sunday night or early monday morning that we covered yesterday.
