4 Republican State Senate incumbents lose in WV primary | Election 2024
West Virginia Senate President Craig Blair was one of four Republican Senate incumbents unseated in Tuesday May 14 2024 night's primary election, according to unofficial results from the Secretary of State's Office. Blair’s loss marks the second time since 2020 that a Senate president failed to dominate his primary. Just four years ago, Senate Amy Grady, R-Mason beat Senate President Mitch Carmichael.
