I can still remember vividly back in 1989 – at the height of excitement over the Batman film – going into Newbury Comics and picking up the first issue of Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight. The anthology series had some great talent, new and old alike, with multi-issue storylines that stood alone and did some great character focus. Now, DC Comics is looking to get a new anthology out there simply as Legends of the Dark Knight where it’ll be a digital-first series that arrives on April 2nd, 2021.
