This injured dog endured excruciating pain for days. With the assistance of our volunteer, Audrey, and Alir rescuer Aldrin (Banto Banto) we rushed to his aid. The sweet-tempered dog, who we named Habib, wasn’t born in the streets. According to a resident, the dog was abandoned after its owner moved out of his rented apartment at Bandar Sierra, Telipok. For whatever reasons the owner does not need to resort to this action of letting the poor dog go on his own. It is really a very irresponsible thing to do. We shudder to think what might happen if the injured dog hadn’t been rescued and was still laying by the side of the road.
