British Transport Police have shared images of four people who were killed on Britain's railway but never identified in the hope they can finally lay their cases to rest.

An appeal has been launched to try and identify a man who died on a railway embankment in Sussex over 30 years ago.

Miles Skai of Brent Cross, Hendon, appeared before Barkingside Magistrates. Detective Chief Inspector Sam Blackburn said yesterday: 'This act of unprovoked violence was despicable.'

The man was found seriously injured at Harold Wood station in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
