Andy Reid has accepted Nottingham Forest’s offer to remain on the coaching staff at the City Ground under Nuno Espirito Santo. Reid, who had been a first-team coach for Steve Cooper, has already begun his new role as transition coach and scout.The 41-year-old former Ireland international had two spells as a player with Forest, firstly after coming through the youth ranks, between 2000 and 2005 and again between 2011 and 2016.The club were keen to retain him as part of their staff, even after the departure of Cooper in December.
