She says the past few days have been the worst and she called for help. The staff isnt over there. Whats going on . Reporter when authorities arrived they found 14 patients inside including amputees, the bedridden and mentally impaired with only two workers caring for them. A janitor and a cook. Its kind of hard to fathom i mean you know theyre human beings here. And we just leave people behind . Reporter the patients were moved to other facilities or in with family all said to be doing okay. Authorities are now searching for the staff who abandoned their posts and their patients.
