Heaviest of all and again, right over much of northeast philly getting some really heavy rain, the heaviest rain of the entire storm but if you go farther south, Atlantic City down toward cape may, theres virtually no rain. Thats whats going to be happening here as we go through the night and into tomorrow. Its not the end of the rain because look at this, its coming up from the south. The big upperair lows way down there. So were a long way from that. Heres the northeast wind. Were not seeing gusts quite as high as what we saw earlier today. We are seeing worst coastal flooding because its hour after hour after hour of those on shore winds, moderate coastal flooding going on now and in another 12 hours, even though the wind will be shifting a little bit and that will prevent it from being even worse than it is right now. Bad as we saw earlier in the afternoon where flooding is concerned taking a look. Right here, two or three blocks in that direction, two blocks down to the bay, two or three blocks from each corner where were standing right now is completely filled with water in the street. All it took was a combination of the high tide this afternoon and those gusty winds to push all of this water into the street. A wind driven storm surge combined with rain and sand went barrelling down the north end. Others mistakenly drove through the rising flood waters leaving them with no choice but to be bailed out by tow truck crews.
