Commissioned by the county, heavy rainfall triggered a slow moving landslide. Some homeowners questioned whether it was, in fact, due to the rain or county negligence built up over years and years, but either way more than two dozen houses have been impacted. Six houses are deemed unlivable and are directly threatened by the slide while 22 others are unsafe because sewer and water had been temporarily disconnected.
