Look, there s always been this talk, especially about paul ryan, ever since he assumed the speakership. there s been a faction within the house republican conference that would like to see him replaced. and the freedom caucus leaders have been discussing this in the last few days. it s unclear how it will gain steam and corral enough votes in the house to make this a real possibility. but i have to tell you, based on what people close to trump are saying, i think the president might be behind or supportive, rather, of something like this. he certainly indicated a month ago at bedminister when he was doing all of those news conferences up there, that he would potentially like to see mitch mcconnell out as the senate majority leader. so it could get very interesting if he sees some sort of opportunity here to shake up the leadership structure on the hill. i think jeremy was shutly right earlier when he said part of what trump was doing in trying to get this deal with pelosi and schumer ....
