FedEx gunman browsed white supremacist websites a year before

REVEALED: FedEx gunman Brandon Hole, 19, was caught browsing white supremacist websites a year before he shot dead eight ex-colleagues and killed himself with two legally bought guns
Brandon Hole's mother contacted Indianapolis police in March 2020 to raise concerns he was going to commit 'suicide by cop' after buying a shotgun
Hole told his mother he was going to point the unloaded shotgun at police so they would shoot him dead
The details were included in a newly released incident report following the mass shooting at a FedEx facility in Indianapolis last week
Police immediately took Hole into custody for a mental health evaluation and seized his gun after being alerted by his mother

FedEx shooting: Sikh community found connection at Ground facility

Generations of Sikh Hoosiers have worked at the FedEx Ground Plainfield Operations Center.
For them, the operations center where eight people including four Sikhs were fatally shot last week wasn't just a place where they logged hours and earned a living.
"FedEx was a gathering place for them, almost like a community center," Gaganpal Sing Dhaliwal, who is a seasonal worker for FedEx told IndyStar. "It was much more than just a job for them."
They carpooled to work. They worked side-by-side with their friends and family. For Sikh immigrants new to Indiana, the type of assembly-line jobs at FedEx didn't require top-notch English language proficiency.

INDIANAPOLIS - Amarjeet Kaur Johal was once a regular at Sikh Satsang of Indianapolis, volunteering to cook and clean up after communal meals.
On Saturday, Johal’s family, friends and co-workers gathered at the temple without her.
Johal, a grandmother of five, was one of the eight workers killed when a gunman opened fire at a FedEx warehouse Thursday night. Four of the victims were Sikh, a loss that cuts deep in this tightknit community, connected by faith and a common heritage tied to the Punjabi region of India.
At the gurdwara, a Sikh place of worship, people gathered to make sense of the violence and to talk about how they can protect their community.

FedEx shooter was Brony obsessed with My Little Ponies

Shooter Brandon Scott Hole had two Facebook pages mostly devoted to children's cartoon My Little Pony
Just before Thursday's shooting in Indianapolis, he posted 'I hope that I can be with Applejack in the afterlife'
Applejack is the main character of the children's show, which has a subculture of adult fans known as 'Bronies'
'Brony' subculture has been linked to extremism, but Facebook found no extremist ties in Hole's posting
Authorities are still unsure of a motive for the shooting, which killed eight including four Sikh
adherents
Hole had been fired from the FedEx sorting facility last year, and had a history of mental health issues
