Now that we know what Russian is planning, the United States cannot afford to be slow to act.
Russia's first moon mission in 47 years failed when its Luna-25 space craft spun out of control and crashed into the moon after a problem preparing for pre-landing orbit.
The exact details of the reason(s) behind the failure of the mission are yet to be ascertained but as Russian space agency Roscosmos said a few hours before the crash, “Luna-25 Suffered Emergency Situation Above The Moon.”
