Dec 22, 2020 The Burnettsville man who caused a Sept. 21, 2019 accident in Royal Center where his passenger’s leg was severed was found guilty of criminal recklessness, a Class B misdemeanor. Brady Riley, 20, was sentenced Thursday to 180 days in Cass County Jail by Cass Circuit Court Judge Stephen Kitts. Kitts found him guilty during a trial before the sentencing and also set Jan. 28 as a restitution hearing for Riley. Cass County Sheriff’s Deputies took Riley into custody after the sentencing.
