More than 50 people from Am Echod and Am Shalom congregation in Glencoe freshened the cemetery Sunday, and performing a Jewish rite burying books and other holy objects containing God’s name which must be buried, not destroyed.

The alleged killer was charged with murder Tuesday night, as a local synagogue prepared to mourn a community member killed in the massacre.
“Wherever we are, we must help women who are in states where they can’t get an abortion get to where they can obtain one,” Rabbi Kudan said. “We can’t stop the fight; we have to fight!”
