Investigators obtained a photograph of Petrosh from his driver's license and matched it to images recorded inside the Capitol during the riot, according to an FBI agent's affidavit. It said Petrosh was identified in the Capitol photos by an FBI task force member who has known him for about 15 years. The task force officer, who was otherwise not involved in the investigation, had previously worked with and attended social gatherings with Petrosh, the affidavit said.
