Public safety captain shawn ahern said two residents were transported to the hospital. There were a lot of people home when the fire was reported just before 1 00 p. M. More than 30 people were evacuated. A resident said she smelled smoke that appeared to be burnt food left on the stove. First responders said the fire spread down a hallway, so they were prepared to evacuate residents who were standing outside on the balconies.
