Blast of wet weather as we head to meteorologist bill evans tracking where the snow is. The snow is falling on the upper west side, one of the few cameras we can show you 33 degrees. We look at the temperatures. It is a mean morning out there. Heavy, wet snow to 5 inches in effect. The warning would be for 6 inches of snow and local spots might get it. Its falling as snow every dids where just to the very eastern end of long island toward the hampton bays and all the way out toward montauk. You see heavy snow on the l. I. E. , the jersey sun pike.
