(suspenseful music plays) (people shouting) - [automated voice] when you have finished recording, you may hang up or press one for more options. - [lynne] christy, call me back, it s lynne. somebody screamed, the canadian desk was right near the window, and someone screamed, oh my god, they just hit the world trade center. - [unidentified woman] oh my god, they just blew up the top of the world trade center. my building shook like you would not believe. - [unidentified man] get out of here. - [unidentified woman] i can see it out my window, there s a big hole. - [narrator] the vibration from the explosion instantly reminds jerry kirkwood of the bombing of the world trade center from 1993. - [unidentified man] hey buddy, how you doing? you all right? - [jerry] i m doing fine, it just scared me for a minute because i was here when a bomb went off, like eight years ago. - [reporter] you are looking at the north building of the twin towers of the world trade center in manhattan. these ar ....
It s really the first time that i was worried i was going to lose something, you know, that was incredible to me and the most important thing to me. and so it s weird listening to this like little timid voice, you know, call the trading desk, asking for him. - the trip.
