Mary was born Dec. 29, 1929, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Constantine Spiro and Ann Stipetic Saroukos. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Youngstown State University in 1958. She worked for more than 40 years for the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office.
