Following the U.S. Supreme Court's denial of Apple's appeal in its ongoing battle with Epic Games, the Cupertino-based company has announced several changes to its App Store Guidelines.
On top of fighting (and losing to) Epic Games over Play Store antitrust concerns, Google has been fighting a similar lawsuit filed by 36 states and the District of Columbia in 2021.
Apple stock has risen 58.40% this year. Moving averages suggest it should continue, but RSI indicates near-term correction.
Changes are expected to unfold over several years and both tech behemoths may still comply with legal requirements in ways that do not significantly impact revenue.
