I owe him a big lunch because i was away when he retired. During his time, he impressed us very much with his knowledge and professionalism and attention to detail. I know i speak for my colleagues as well when i say we will miss him. He was a great anchor for the department and his history goes back to senator feinstein and i was talking to john about it earlier, he took a little time off in the middle and then back to dbi for, i believe, 13 years was the time .
