Well, this morning a large part of the midwest is digging out after a massive winter storm dumped up to 17 inches of snow in some areas. The storm shut down governments, schools, and transportation. Travel in some areas is impossible. Hundreds of flights have been canceled this morning, and at least two traffic deaths are blamed on the storm. Some of the largest accumulations were in kansas where the National Guard is patrolling roadways. One meteorologist said it was pouring snow there.
