Some law schools responded to the glut of quality applications with strict deposit guidelines, while other took a more wait-and-see approach.
Well, the result is that multiple elite law schools are overenrolled. According to a Reddit thread, Boston College has already fessed up to incoming students about their swollen class we are talking by 100+ students. Syria chemical weapons plan poses unprecedented challenge - USA TODAY - William P.J. Lynch Jr.com

Identifying and eliminating Syria’s chemical weapons stockpiles while the country is enmeshed in a civil war is an unprecedented challenge, made even riskier by rebel groups who may oppose the effort, analysts say.
“There has never been an effort to disarm an entire country of its chemical weapons during a civil war,” said Gregory Koblentz, a professor at George Mason University who specializes in weapons of mass destruction.
The United States and Russia reached an agreement over the weekend to eliminate Syria’s chemical weapons.
In Jerusalem on Sunday, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry briefed Israeli leaders on the agreement and said military options against Syria were still available. “The threat of force is real, and the Assad regime and all those taking part need to understand that President Obama and the United States are committed to achieve this goal,” he said. ....

VANCOUVER, BC / ACCESSWIRE / May 17, 2021 /
Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd. (TSX:NDM)(NYSE American:NAK) ( Northern Dynasty or the Company ) President & CEO Ron Thiessen said recent targets set by the United States government for America s transition to clean, renewable energy will drive a massive increase in domestic copper demand and consumption over the coming decade.
For many reasons - including its cost, conductivity, ductility and durability - copper is an irreplaceable metal for renewable and low-carbon energy and electrification technologies, Thiessen said, noting the volume of copper used per unit of energy output in renewable energy systems (or copper intensity) can be 2 - 5 times greater than in conventional energy generation. ....
