Rivington Fair moves online over Easter weekend

Rivington’s Good Friday fair is cancelled again this year as authorities urge visitors to stay safe over Easter.
This year the traditional Good Friday Fair at Rivington Pike is moving online, while visitors to the popular spot are being asked to behave responsibly and continue to follow the latest Covid-19 restrictions.
Like last year, organisers are taking the fun online instead to try to reduce the numbers of people congregating at the popular landmark which is situated between Chorley and Bolton.
A virtual Rivington Fair will encourage people to share, tweet and post their pictures of a Rivington-inspired home or garden party using the hashtag #RivEGGton.

Fulfilmentcrowd: Chorley firm reports record year and plans expansion

A CHORLEY based business which counts Bear Grylls amongst its customers has recorded its best year to date and now plans to expand overseas.
Fulfilmentcrowd, based on Matrix Park Western Avenue, delivers food, drink, beauty products and other perishable goods for more than 400 UK and international retailers, employing 102 members of staff across 11 centres.
All together the firm manages more than 120,000 square feet of warehouse space and processes more than 50,000 items per week, having just opened three new sites in the UK, Germany and America.

Lancashire ecommerce logistics company, fulfilmentcrowd is forecasting a 58% growth in revenue this year, with turnover set to hit £12m.
The Chorley firm has undergone expansion over the last year, adding to its distribution centres in Europe and North America. This includes a chilled logistics operation in Marton Fold, aimed at UK-based ecommerce start-ups and SMEs in the food, drink, health and beauty sectors.
