FBC Making Money With Charles Payne March 22, 2017

He was shot by Security Officers outside of the Parliament Square area next to the palace of westminster or what we would know in the states as parliament. He just attacked a Police Officer and stabbed him with what is described as an 8inch knife. He drove a fouwheel vehicle across westminster bridge. Two people on the bridge were killed. Three Police Officers were also hit on the bridge by the vehicle. So this is a very troubling event. There were eyewitnesses, and here is what they had to say about all this. It was the noise heard first of all. Thin just saw a car go out of control. And then there were people lying on the floor. There was a body on the ground not moving. What we also have got to do, and this worries me very much , its directly related to healthcare or the environment or anything else. You have to pay a lot of attention and fight back against voter suppression. There are cowardly republican governors all over this country who are afraid of free, open and democratic elections and theyre trying to make it harder for young people, for old people, people of color to participate in the political process so we got to ....

We were doing a story about an opposition type newspaper and its editor and what it was like to run a newspaper that felt free to criticize the regime when so many other papers were being cracked down on and what it was like to be in that position. Then the coup started and suddenly our story took on sort of a different dimension. Turns out the editor we were writing about is one of the people on their list of people they dont like postcoup, because postcoup they are cracking down on opponents. There basically isnt a free press. Its a very complicated situation and we talk about how for the press its really complicated there. Right now the guy we focus the story on is no longer in turkey. David you approach the story in a different way. Theres been this coup, you looking at the role of the opposition. How has that changed, being the opposition in turkey . They are cracking down on society, erent aspect putting judges on lists for targeting, putting journalists on lists, teachers on list ....
