Delaware News Journal Sen. Sarah McBride announced a bill on Wednesday to ensure Delaware workers can get up to 12 weeks of paid family and medical leave. Senate Bill 1 would create a statewide paid family and medical leave insurance program, paid for by payroll contributions, for certain life events such as serious illness, a new child or adjusting to military deployment.
