Police swarming a quiet area in herndon this morning. Reporter this is an active investigation right now. Police have put up crime scene time blocking out of a perimeter. Theyve been out here since about 7 30 when the call came in. They say the building was found next to the parking structure and now theyre working to determine now the woman died. The chief prosecutor is expressing regret. We spoke today with john geers father who said, its ridiculous that it took this long to get to this point. They indicted him on seconddegree murder charges. This happened in a standoff with police at geers springfield town hill. Torres was not named for 17 months following the shooter and the Fairfax CountyCommonwealth Attorney said the county attorney and the police chief rosslere withheld information from the case moving forward. Baltimore Police OfficerWilliam Porter will be compelled to testify in all of the trials over freddie grays death. A lower court ruled that he would have to testify and the Maryland Court of appeals, the highest court in the state upheld that ruling. Six Police Officers were charged. Porters trial ended in a hung jury last year. The other officers faced charges for assault and depraved heart murder for grays death. Breaking new development.
