青年高中餐飲科獲得「110年度全國高級中等學校專業群科餐旅群」專題組全國第一名的肯定，圖為賴建成校長與獲獎師生合影。
教育的目的是什麼?該怎麼選擇就讀的學校?經典日劇「東大特訓班」掀起了大家對於「教育、學習」的反思。透過教育引導孩子了解世界，並啟發終身學習的動力；透過學習懂得付出、懂得愛，能具有同理心，能夠在學校中學會這些事，或許遠比念什麼名校還要重要許多。
好的學習環境與用心的老師才是影響孩子未來的關鍵，隨著108課綱上路，青年高中餐飲科在老師們的用心與專業，規劃了包含微型創業、社會服務等特色課程，除了餐飲專業技能外，更注重品德教育，培養社會服務的精神，亦積極參與國內外餐飲競賽，獲得許多優異亮眼的好成績。
青年高中餐飲科培養學生具有社會服務精神，每年皆發揮所長幫助弱勢，親手做經典美食並邀請甘霖基金會日照中心約20位失智長輩至青年高中享用記憶中的美好滋味。
2019年勇奪「AFA韓國國際餐飲廚藝競賽」14金2銀1銅的佳績；110年度全國高級中等學校專業群科「餐旅群」專題及創意製作競賽更榮獲「雙優勝佳績」，並獲得餐旅群專題組「全國第一名」的肯定，成為中部唯一的學校。
青年高中餐飲科不僅國內獲獎無數，近年來在國際大賽的成績更是亮眼，2019年AFA韓國國際餐飲廚藝競賽榮獲14金的肯定。
今年不受疫情影響，青年高中餐飲科師生在「2021比利時觀光美食節國際大賽BTGFIC」依舊表現亮眼，拿下4金2銀的亮眼成績！配合全球的防疫政策，比賽採用線上形式辦理，與來自比利時、荷蘭、巴勒斯坦、土耳其、以色列、韓國、台灣、澳洲、祕魯、印度、阿拉伯、日本、馬來西亞、新加坡、越南等國家的餐飲高手們一同競賽。
在方品傑主任、紀佳利老師、蕭閔方老師，帶領指導學生參賽，其中蕭閔方老師以藝術麵包項目「探險家深入叢林！驚動沉睡的精靈」榮獲金牌的殊榮；此外今年一年級實用技能烘焙班學生也在老師與學長姐們的指導下，拿下1金2銀的成績，更是令人驚艷。

「盤飾甜點」金獎-董庭瑋 2年級正規班(光榮國中)
「盤飾甜點」銀獎-林澂以 1年級烘焙班(至善國中)
2021比利時觀光美食節國際大賽，青年高中師生獲得4金2銀的佳績，蕭閔方老師更獲得藝術麵包項目的金獎。
青年高中餐飲科除了輔導同學考取三張以上餐旅證照，更藉由師徒制、選手制的教育方式，透過師生共同討論與成長，培養解決問題的能力，更能讓每位孩子找到自己想要的方向，未來不管升學、就業或創業，都能發揮所學所長。
人生就如龜兔賽跑，或許國中成績不出色，來到青年高中餐飲科，絕對能找到人生舞台，翻轉自己的未來。
青年高中餐飲科以適性揚才的課程規劃，不僅重視品德教育，更輔導同學在高中三年皆能順利考取三張以上的餐飲證照，培養最專業的餐旅職人。
