At this hour they are looking for a gunman and a motive. It was an otherwise ordinary evening on la salle avenue near carmel drive until neighbors heard one gunshot ring out. I just heard a lot of screaming from the inside. I was inside when this all happened. I just heard a lot of screaming, then a car just speeding away. Reporter police are looking for that car described as a silver honda civic with two white men inside. The child was outside playing with other children when the suspect vehicle drove by and shot.
