May 13, 2021 For those who lack patience, faith, or just wanted more from their team, it took the Indianapolis Colts a while to get satisfactorily involved in the offseason roster grooming. When free agency began, they mostly focused on re-signing their own players rather than distributing their ample salary cap space to outside playmakers. After the draft passed, however, concerns about the major roster holes seemed insignificant as the Colts had finally satisfied their needs. A look at our Cornerback Room By BertAlert! on May 10, 2021, 12:48pm EDT + As of May 10th 2021 this is the CURRENT Colts CB Roster (Avg, Age:25.3) I was torn between giving a B or B- for this position group. Our #1 Rhodes had the 9th highest PFF Grade, Slot CB Moore was the 16th, and Carrie was the 37th. We almost had 4 CBs in the top 32 which would be great considering there are 32 teams in the league. The big issue is our supposed #2 CB in Rock Ya-Sin. The problem is that he was rated number 103 and didn t even break a PFF 50. Opinions are still divided, but if Rock doesn t improve drastically then he needs to go or be the #5 CB. We will need to address CB in the next few since Rhodes and Carrie are 30 years old. We should be able to pick a good one up in FA next year. Yes safeties can help a CB, but a bad CB is a huge liability. The best QBs with target you again and again.

He made 27 starts at right tackle and 13 at left tackle respectively during his 4-year collegiate career earning honorable mention All-ACC honors during his senior season in 2019. The undrafted rookie tackle spent the 2020 offseason with the Arizona Cardinals. CB Anthony Chesley: The 6’0”, 190 pound cornerback from Coastal Carolina appeared in 42 games, recording 140 tackles (105 solo), 5.5 tackles for loss, 25 passes defensed, and 2 interceptions during his 4-year collegiate career with the Chanticleers. He was initially signed by the Cincinnati Bengals following the 2019 NFL Draft as an undrafted rookie but later spent time with the Houston Texans organization during 2019-2020 including on their active roster (appearing in 3 games this past season).
