Two other charges, misdemeanor child endangerment counts, were left standing and those charges continue to be prosecuted.
Latrisha Greene was charged in January and later indicted on the evidence tampering count, accused of sending a text message to her husband from the hospital after Charlie was taken to the hospital to “clean up the house if you can.”
Prosecutors contended that amounted to tampering with a crime scene. Latrisha Greene’s attorney Danielle Neroni, however, argued there was insufficient evidence to support the charge.

SCHENECTADY – Allegations filed in court by prosecutors are shedding more light on the case against a Rotterdam foster father accused of killing a 4-year-old boy placed in his care and injuring the boy’s 5-year-old brother.
The motions and disclosures filed in the murder case against Dequan Greene and the evidence tampering case against his wife, Latricia Greene, paint the awful picture of excessive corporal punishment allegedly inflicted by the foster father that prosecutors say amounted to torture.

ALBANY – Five more people tested positive for COVID Albany County announced Saturday as it also promoted vaccine availability at eight regional vaccine clinics in an effort to stop the spread of the virus. Clinics are being held this week in Albany, Wynantskill and Melrose.
As of Saturday, 76 percent of the adults in Albany County had received at least one vaccine dose. Anyone age 12 or older is eligible for the vaccine.
