After NASA, Jim Bridenstine returns to Oklahoma advising aerospace and defense companies [The Oklahoman, Oklahoma City] Jan. 25 Jim Bridenstine, the former congressman from Tulsa who led NASA while the agency developed its latest mission to return humans to the moon and expanded its commercial space program, has taken a job with Oklahoma City-based Acorn Growth Companies. Acorn is a private equity firm investing exclusively in aerospace, defense and intelligence. They use investment funds to buy companies, taking a controlling interest and often partnering with the original owners to grow the business. Bridenstine will serve as senior adviser after leaving NASA Jan. 20. ....
