The Ministry of Education has suspended the O and A Level examinations due to an uptick in coronavirus infections in the country.

The ministry’s Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education issued the order addressing the country director of the British Council’s Bangladesh unit on Tuesday.
The O and A Level exams for English Medium students were scheduled to begin in April.
The directive from the education ministry said public exams in all Bengali Medium schools and other mainstream education centres have been suspended with the safety of students and teachers in mind in light of the coronavirus situation. ....

Twitter suspended anyone who tweeted the word 'Memphis'

Twitter users noticed on Sunday that accounts who tweeted the word Memphis were receiving 12-hour suspensions.
Some found ingenious ways of discussing it, and the phenomenon was even addressed by basketball team the Memphis Grizzlies.
Twitter confirmed to Insider in a statement on Monday that the suspensions were the result of a glitch though it did not specify how that glitch came about.
There was a system issue impacting accounts that tweeted the word Memphis. The issue mistakenly requested that account owners delete those Tweets and temporarily limited their account features. The affected accounts are now reinstated and this issue has been resolved, a spokesperson said. ....
