Charlie Tran saw the shattered windows Sunday afternoon.
His restaurant, Le Bon in Sunnyvale, had been vandalized in what he first thought to be a random attack. I really thought it was a delinquent that just came here and broke our window, Tran told KTVU.
After calling the police, he went looking for any evidence of a stray attack a rock, or a bullet perhaps and said he found a vile note.
Tran said it read, “Dirty f ing [expletive], go back to your home.”
Tran, who did not immediately respond to a request for comment from SFGATE, said the note “hurt me more than if it was just a random person breaking our window.” ....
