Irrfan Khan's Son: Babil pens a heartfelt note on dad Irrfan Khan's death anniversary, "There is a legacy that has already been concluded by my Baba himself"

April 29 was a dark day in Bollywood as the industry lost one of its most legendary actors Irrfan Khan. The ‘Hindi Medium’ actor had been undergoing treatment for cancer since two years and on his first death anniversary, Irrfan’s son Babil penned a heartfelt note for his ‘baba’. Sharing a candid picture of Irrfan Khan working on setting up a desk, Babil captioned it with his pure emotions.
Sorely missing his father and expressing his love for Irrfan Khan, Babil wrote, “Chemo burns you from the inside, so to find joy in the simple things, like building your own table to write your own journals. There is a purity, I have not yet discovered. There is a legacy that has already been concluded by my Baba himself. A full stop. Nobody can ever replace him. Nobody will ever be able to. To the greatest best friend, companion, brother, father, I ever had and ever will have. I love you so much, for the rest of this chaos we are choosing to call life. I miss you, more than all that shah-Jahan/mumtaz stuff; I would have built a space monument that could have taken us to the furthest parts of a blackhole singularity you were always intrigued by, but I would have been there with you Baba, and we could have gone together, hand in hand. (Exploring the last mysteries).”

Who doesn’t want to go on a treasure hunt? “Finding ‘Ohana” is about finding treasure. I know I would have loved to discover a box crammed full of gold and jewels when I was young and adventurous. Now, I play the lottery instead. I probably stand a better chance of finding lost gold than winning the lottery but someone’s gotta try.

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) Starting next month, California will offer COVID-19 vaccines to people with high-risk underlying conditions like cancer.
A lot of cancer patients have questions. Should you delay the vaccine if you’re undergoing chemotherapy? What happens if you get the vaccine while your immune system is shot?
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention offers limited guidance. Vaccine makers excluded people with compromised immune systems from their trials.
For the roughly 17 million Americans who previously had cancer and beat it, the advice is simple: get the shot when it is offered to you.

Automated Isolation Technology Speeds up Pharmacy Process

Feb 16 2021 Read 237 Times
Clean air and containment specialist Envair has announced a new partnership with Dutch engineering firm SmartCompounders. The collaboration means Envair will be the only isolator manufacturer in the UK to offer this innovative solution to personalised medication.
Combining the SmartCompounders Chemo automated solution with the Envair CDC F negative pressure isolator can help pharmacy managers quickly and easily increase output per compounding technician to 20-40 final product containers per hour (IV bags, syringes or elastomeric pumps), improving efficiency and reducing medication errors.
Commenting on the partnership, Envair Managing Direct Gary Bagshaw said: “With so many clients demanding efficient ways to deliver personalised medicine, we believe the SmartCompounders Chemo integration, which can also connect to prescribing software, is a giant leap forward for hospital pharmacies.”
