In metro Detroit, a local business owner received a number of antisemitic phone calls and messages in response to a social media post.
Jeremy Sasson is the founder and CEO of Heirloom Hospitality Group, LLC, which operates Prime and Proper, Townhouse Birmingham and Townhouse Detroit.
Sasson said he posted a photo of the Israeli flag on his Instagram story to show support for family members living in Israel. Instead, the post led to thousands of negative reviews.
In about 48 hours, our restaurants received over 10,000 one-star reviews across all review sites, even for restaurants that are currently not even open, Sasson said. ....
