MPCA investigating Enbridge Line 3 nontoxic spill - - The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency is investigating a drilling fluid spill that occurred on the Willow River in Aitkin County at one of Enbridge's construction sites for its new Line 3 oil pipeline. Drilling was halted after the nontoxic spill was discovered early July 6 and "containment and cleanup activities were started," MPCA spokeswoman Cori Rude-Young said Monday. "The MPCA has been in regular communication with the on-site, independent environmental monitors and Enbridge Energy, and we have inspected the site cleanup," she said. The new pipeline will replace the Enbridge's current Line 3, which is deteriorating with age and can now only carry about half of its capacity. It is more than 60% completed. The site where the spill occurred is one of several along the 340-mile route where Enbridge is undertaking horizontal directional drilling to bury its $3 billion pipeline below waterways. The drilling method involves sending a pressurized mud mixture into a tunnel beneath a stream bed before pulling the pipe through. Between 80 and 100 gallons of drilling mud were released, according to the MPCA. "There were no impacts to any aquifers nor were there downstream impacts because environmental control measures were installed at this location," Enbridge spokeswoman Juli Kellner said in a statement. "The drilling operation was immediately shut down, and crews followed the procedure for managing containment and cleanup of material as specified in project permits." The company will need clearance from the MPCA before resuming drilling at the site, which is outside of Palisade in Aitkin County.

Илларионов продолжил: "О действиях экипажа "Бук-М" рассказал свидетель M58, сообщивший следствию, что воевал на стороне "ДНР" в разведподразделении под командованием "Хмурого" — Дубинского... Свидетель рассказал, что после оттеснения украинских сил из района Мариновки, его взвод находился возле кукурузного поля с приказом — охранять, ожидая прорыва украинских войск. Кто дал приказ — свидетель не знает. Поле было рядом с перекрестком и блокпостом возле Первомайского. Свидетель на снимке спутника указал место, где он находился.
С этого поля свидетель заметил, как около 16:00 запустили ракету. Позже он услышал, что это был "БУК". Он говорил, что ракету запустили "наши парни" и "наши войска ФСБ" — то есть российские солдаты. Он не говорил о России, как об участнике конфликта, но говорил об отдельных военнослужащих. Свидетель также рассказал, что ракету запустили в пассажирский самолет, который потом упал. После этого "БУК" откатили к деревьям и пять минут спустя вывезли в направлении Мариновки и Снежного. Что было с ним дальше — свидетель не знает. Но он знает, что из четырех зеленых ракет с белыми боеголовками после запуска одна отсутствовала. Он описал состояние эйфории, когда они попали в самолет — думали, что сбили транспортный самолет украинских сил. Когда они пошли на место крушения, то были поражены: "Наши парни сбили гражданский самолет"".
Экс-советник Путина продолжил: "Документы суда в Гааге подтверждают выводы, сделанные автором этих строк неоднократно, впервые еще 23 июля 2014 г. на страницах этого блога – Зачем был сбит амстердамский "Боинг"?, а затем и в эфире ЭМ – Обложка. Сегодняшний эфир на ЭМ, в соответствии с которыми непосредственными исполнителями приказа по уничтожению рейса "Малайзийских авиалиний" были российские кадровые военнослужащие, а ответственность за переправку "Бук-М" на оккупированную украинскую территорию и отдачу приказа на уничтожение пассажирского самолета несет российское политическое и военное руководство.
Представленные в Гааге материалы окончательно хоронят версию "обезьяна с гранатой", популяризировавшуюся в течение последних лет рядом авторов, в частности, В.Лукашевичем, Ю.Латыниной, С.Марковым, А.Колесниковым, компанией Алмаз-Антей.
Полученные в рамках процесса в Гааге материалы позволяют начать судебный процесс, в ходе которого теперь можно будет рассмотреть ответственность российских военнослужащих и российского руководства за убийство 298 человек и уничтожение самолета. Ответственность России за сбитие МН17 будет рассматриваться в рамках судебного процесса в Европейском суде по правам человека в Страсбурге по делу 28525/20 от 10 июля 2020 г. "Нидерланды против Российской Федерации". Заседание Большой палаты ЕСПЧ назначено на 24 ноября 2021 г."
Напомним, самолет "Боинг-777" Малайзийских авиалиний, следовавший из Амстердама в Куала-Лумпур, был сбит 17 июля 2014 года в районе Тореза (Донецкая область). В результате погибли 298 человек.
19 июня 2019 года Совместная следственная группа (Joint Investigation Team, JIT) назвала имена четырех подозреваемых, которые считаются причастными к транспортировке и боевому применению ракетного комплекса "Бук", которым был сбит самолет рейса МН17. Трое из них - россияне. Это бывший офицер ФСБ, так называемый бывший министр обороны "ДНР" Игорь Гиркин (Стрелков), генерал, а на время уничтожения самолета полковник ГРУ ГШ Вооруженных сил РФ, глава "ГРУ ДНР" Сергей Дубинский и подполковник спецназа ГРУ Олег Пулатов, в то время - заместитель председателя "разведывательной службы ДНР". Четвертый - украинец Леонид Харченко, который воевал на стороне "ДНР". Все они были объявлены в международный розыск.
9 марта 2020 года в Нидерландах начались заседания суда по делу МН17.
Нидерланды подали иск в ЕСПЧ против России, в котором российскую сторону называют ответственной за нарушение трех статей Европейской конвенции по правам человека.
Позже стало известно, что суд объединил с иском Нидерландов дело Украины против Москвы из-за принудительного вывоза учащихся и студентов с оккупированной территории Донецкой и Луганской областей в Россию в начале войны.
7 июня 2021 года началось рассмотрение дела по существу. Боевики Игорь Гиркин и Леонид Харченко, а также российский генерал Сергей Дубинский, которые являются подозреваемыми по делу, не явились на заседание.

I would like begin by thanking Under-Secretary DiCarlo and Acting Under-Secretary Ramesh Rajasingham for their expert insights and briefings today.
Today is an important opportunity. It is right that this Security Council considers how to help end this devastating conflict and support all of the people of Ethiopia.
I shall not repeat the picture of suffering outlined by our briefers. It is stark. It is real. But after eight months of conflict, we remain deeply concerned by all that we have heard and that we are seeing.
Instead, I want to make three brief points: on the immediate humanitarian situation, the need for conflict resolution and in addressing human rights concerns, so that Ethiopia can move on from this most tragic of conflicts.
