The bakery opened in April 2020, shortly after the state’s initial pandemic shutdown. Owners Nathalie and Franck Beddiar moved to Medford from Toulouse, France, in 2017, and have worked to provide Medford and its surroundings with classic baked goods from France, including croissants, apple turnovers, eclairs, chouquettes, and more. There are savory options, too, like sandwiches and quiche, and on weekends, the bakery serves sugar-crusted kouign-amann.
