Colorado School Band Performing at Today's Inauguration

A marching band from Colorado will perform today at the presidential inauguration.
Congratulations to D’Evelyn Junior-Senior High School in southwest Denver. As a matter of fact, they are one of only two high schools in the country invited to perform.
How did this come about? According to FOX31, immediately following the election, band Director Becky Paschke put in the application to be considered.

What will the band perform? Their chosen selection is American Patrol. According to Wikipedia, American Patrol is a popular march written by Frank White (F.W.) Meacham in 1885. While originally arranged for piano, it was later arranged for wind ensembles in 1891. ....
