The government has been receiving international cooperation for Covid-19 relief medical supplies and equipment since April 27 from different countries and organisations.
Through a streamlined and systematic mechanism, various ministries and departments have seamlessly collaborated under the 'whole of government' approach for expeditiously delivering incoming global aid to states and union territories, the Union health ministry said.
It said that cumulatively, 11,321 oxygen concentrators, 15,801 oxygen cylinders, 19 oxygen generation plants, 7,470 ventilators or Bi-PAPs and about 5.5 lakh Remdesivir vials have been delivered or dispatched through road and air from April 27 to May 16.

Royal Philips: Philips survey reveals COVID-19's negative impact on sleep quality and CPAP use
March 10, 2021
70% of people surveyed have experienced one or more new sleep challenges since the start of the pandemic
72% of surveyed sleep apnea patients who discontinued CPAP therapy cited COVID-19 related reasons
58% reported a willingness to use telehealth for a sleep related concern, aligning with Philips' commitment to delivering connected care telehealth support to people at home
Amsterdam, the Netherlands -
Royal Philips. Almost a year since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, Philips surveyed 13,000 adults in 13 countries to capture attitudes, perceptions, and behaviors around sleep. This year's survey reveals that, since the beginning of COVID-19, 70% of respondents experienced one or more new sleep challenges, with 60% reporting that the pandemic had directly impacted their ability to sleep well. It also reveals that while such challenges have been widespread, sleep apnea patients have been disproportionately affected. The good news is there is strong interest in implementing tools and strategies - such as telehealth, online information resources, and lifestyle changes - to address these challenges.

Information from real-time data streams drives nearly every aspect of Formula 1 racing and informs the core skills of the F1 industry -- from rapid design and prototype manufacture to testing and skilled assembly.
F1 loves a deadline -- you’re either ready by race time or you lose the race. As the coronavirus took hold in early March of 2020, it was showtime -- a call to arms for the F1 community to harness its know-how and band together with the British government to support the manufacture of respiratory devices in an effort called Project Pitlane.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Dirk Mason jolted awake Tuesday morning, gasping for air when his BiPAP machine stopped working.
"I pulled my mask off and tried to gasp for a breath of air, and I was like, 'What is going on?'" Mason, of Shawnee, said.
The device helps with his heart condition and sleep apnea. The condition causes him to stop breathing nearly 100 times an hour.
