The Little Shamrock
The Little Shamrock
Location: 807 Lincoln Way, near Ninth Avenue
Opened: 1890s
The Little Shamrock at 807 Lincoln Way near Ninth Avenue is the Sunset District s oldest business, serving drinks in the same location since the 1890s. First problem: Antone Herzo died July 17, 1893 at age 38, which is quite an impediment to opening a bar three months later. ....

After rolling through the first half of summer, dipping our toes in the social waters and, for some, even venturing out of town, it feels like the right time to get back in step with local community offerings. Relish the re-emergence of live arts and performances, offered both indoors and outside; especially those tailor-made to entertain the little ones in the family. ....

Two Local Authors Make A Historical And Artistic Pilgrimage To Document Lesbian Mothers.
By Margaret Regan
FOR BARBARA SEYDA and Diana Herrera, the gayby boom
first hit home back in 1993 at a boisterous Thanksgiving dinner
in a New Mexico farmhouse.
Gayby? It s no misprint: An elision of the words gay
