U.S. Senator Joni Ernst , a member of the Senate Agriculture and Environment and Public Works Committees, is backing bipartisan legislation aimed at increasing market access for biofuel and continuing to allow retailers across the country to sell E15 and other higher-ethanol fuel blends year-round, eliminating confusion at the pump.

The Precision Ag Technology bill updates language in the National Science Foundation’s associate degree programs in STEM fields to consider applications that incorporate distance learning into the curriculum. Beacom says that’s important because it provides additional flexibility for students in rural areas or those working on a farm or ranch. ....

President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris met with lawmakers in the Oval Office on Monday. Mr. Biden has repeatedly said that it is his preference to pass a bipartisan deal.
WASHINGTON Facing opposition from Republicans and some centrist Democrats to parts of his $2 trillion infrastructure proposal, President Biden on Monday convened a bipartisan group of lawmakers at the White House, hoping to make progress toward a deal that can pass a bitterly divided Congress.
Sitting in the Oval Office with the group, Mr. Biden said he was “prepared to negotiate as to the extent of the infrastructure project, as well as how we pay for it.” ....
